USYD Fashion Revolution is a community; a culmination of a passion for sustainability and social impact in the global textiles industry;an industry which emits 1.7 million tons of CO2 annually, accounting for 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions, and where some of the worst worker exploitation occurs.

Established by a team of 4, we noticed that there was a lack of a community in Sydney the social and environmental impact of fashion and the textiles industry. USYD Fashion Revolution is became the Sydney branch of Fashion Revolution UK, with a mission to spread awareness of these issues while holding onto the creativity and joy which fashion brings to the world.

With a strong focus on branding and visual identity, we became recognised on the University of Sydney campus and grew to over 450 members within 1 year. We achieved 4x funding from the University of Sydney Union the following year, upon reaching the member capacity categorised as a 'Large Society'.
