Climbing Anchors top sales channel is retail, with their strategic advantage being delivering the best customer experience in-store (4.8+ stars based on 500+ reviews). However, during sales periods the staff are unable to cater to all customers needs and require a better way to provide important information to them to make purchase decisions themselves. I decided to take this problem on as a self-initiated project to create a better in-store experience.
I undergo customer research (competitor analysis; staff survey) > prototyping > testing > final development.
I received over 100 responses to a staff survey aimed to make use of their expertise, condense the information into the charts you see on the shoe cards; and allow customers to make more informed purchasing decisions when shopping for climbing shoes. The shoe cards also allow better comparisons between shoes for choosing the right pair, especially for first-time buyers.
I also introduce the use of Canva in the process, setting it up for ease of use for staff to change information when needed.
